Actress Beth Lydy was originally cast as 'Kitty.' She withdrew from the production on the afternoon of November 22, 1917, the day the production was originally scheduled to open. The opening was postponed until November 26, 1917, with newly-cast Carolyn Thomson in the role of 'Kitty.'
