Comments
The playbill for this productions credits Sue Yaeger as playing the cameo role of A Postulant. The role was actually played by Renee Guerin, Mary Martin's standby. Sue Yaeger is actually the name of Mary Martin's childhood friend; Martin wanted to use her name in the production for fun. The real-life Yaeger did not perform on Broadway.
