Biography: Gwyneth Evelyn Verdon was born on January 13, 1925 in Culver City, California to Gertrude Lilian and Joseph William Verdon. She originated the role of Roxie in Chicago. She married James Henaghan, with whom she had her son Jimmy. She then married choreographer Bob Fosse, with whom she had her daughter Nicole.
