Biography: John Grinham Kerr was born on November 15, 1931 in New York to Geoffrey Kerr and June Walker. He studied at Harvard University, and then worked at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge as well as in summer stock. He married Priscilla Smith, and then married Barbara Chu. He had three children and two stepchildren.
